I lived in Casper Wyoming that year and it was my mothers birthday. Jr. High.

I remember being in class when the principal made the announcement, but I don't remember the class subject or the teacher. I remember walking home with the usual suspects, Larry Lowery, Kenny Hulce, Ronnie Measom and a couple of others. I remember watching a lot of the television coverage over the rest of that weekend. It's hard to believe it will be 50 years later when the anniversary rolls around next year.

That was my favorite place in Spain! Gaudi was an amazing artist. He must have had the most wacking dreams to come up with all his ideas. Glad you had a good time.    I was at lunch when they announced that Kennedy had been shot. But i was in Mr. Gledhill's class when they told us he died!  Any body have any predictions on who is going to win the election, And i don't mean Utah's vote, we know that answer!!! Is anyone sick of the campain. Larry what do you know of Mia Love???? All i know is that i am sick of hearing her name! Nothing against her!

Well since no one else is posting I will tell you I spelled Campain wrong on purpose just to see if anyone would correct me. Because it is a CamPain in my butt!  Love you,

My favorite too Shauna, I can't imagine how he had so many ideas in one head. This is dead remains of someone in Pompii, I was going to show a pink and blond David but I know someone would be offended. Although, it would get people talking again.

I think it's cool how we can hate the opposing candidate in America but after losing or winning we accept them to be the leader. Not always graciously, but none of us want to really fail.

Jan, did you like your meal?  Iggys might be a good place the group to eat someday.

So how would it be to live part time in Kanab?    If all goes the way we hope it does we will be spending lots of time in Kanab in a town home.   Crazy when I have not been there for years and when I was it was driving through and only stopping to eat.   I think that I may be loosing it.

There is no doubt you are loosing it.  DO YOU KNOW WHERE KANAB IS???  If your looking for somewhere warm to spend the winters that is not the place.  Stop by the house on your way through will give you something warm to get you down there.

I think it looks like a great little town I have only been through there on my bike but anywhere out of the city is a great place to live.

What about the rest of you are you all still alive.  Dave the email you sent me was great, thanks for sharing I really enjoy them.  DS

16 miles outside of Kanab is the beautiful place featured in magazines and a lot of other places. "The Wave". Type it in and see the beatiful formations there. They blow your mind!

Only 15 or so people can hike in one day, we went the day before 911. Woke up the next morning in Kanab to hear the news. It's seems like a nice town, but don't know about the weather in the winter.

Good luck!

Some of Gunsmoke was filmed there, in Johnson Canyon. I think you can still visit the set. It's pretty old, about 5 buildings, but you can see where Doc's steps up to his offfice was.

 That wave looks awsome.

What is interesting is I applied for the loan yesterday and was told today that I got it.   Can not close till the end of December as it is being lived in until then.   We will do a walk through on the 9th of November and go from there.  After the walk through then we will have the choice to back out or not without loosing the deposit.  If we say yes then and back out we loose the deposit.   It is an hour from Powell, St George, then there is Bryce and Grand Canyon.  Also the Pink Coral Sand Dunes as well as the wave.   It will be an interesting investment that we are making.

We also went to the Coral pink Sand Dunes, they are awesome, I would like to go again. I think there are a lot of worse places to live! I think you might love it, a lot to see and do......

Good luck! we will all be watching, if you move we'll come by and say hi  on our travels through the south usually once a year......

Happy Birthday Jill hope you had a great day!  It is always nice to see class members having birthdays that means they made it another year.  Have a great weekend.  DS

Tue. sounds good, can you come along Daryl? We could ride together so Eric doesn't change his mind. You get the tee time Dennis. Denny, I can't wait for some of those potatoe chips.

Do You want to do lunch before we golf?  Or should we golf and then have something to eat?  We will probably have to go to Mayfield  to eat cause the cafe at the golf course is closed.

I am free after 1100 hrs.  I could make tee times for 1300 or (1:00 p.m.) we could meet for lunch at 1130 or do it after,  let me know what you think.  DS

Tee times are for 1256 Tuesday Nov. 6th at the Palisades Golf course in Sterling.  Can't wait to see everyone.  I talked with Daryl and he is not feeling well so he will not be golfing with us.  DS
