DS.....Is that a threat?   I guess I'll have to go out and buy new clothes to be kidnapped in.

Debbie...Because of where I work I don't make threats, I make promises.  I am the Warden and have the power to keep promises.  While you are looking for new clothes you may want to get some leather things, or let us know your size and we will bring some extra with us when we plan the kidnapping!

I hope you mean motorcycle leathers Dennis and no waffle stompers.

If you come down, we will buy your lunch Debbie. We'll even pay for the dinner at the reunion next year at Riverside.

I'm thinking Iggies for lunch next week in Orem. Is that Ok?

Happy birthday Cousin. That photo of two Lynn boys wasn't us Steve. I found it at a flea market in Seattle when I was visiting my sister and had to buy it. Two boys in a wagon with no one pulling, going nowhere, you crying, that was us.

DS....At a point in my life I was married to one of Salt Lake City's finest.  He also was fond of saying "I don't make threats I make promises".  There are times when I wonder if they ever found his body.

Hey I have plenty of leather, but it is all in high heel shoes.

Had another enjoyable trip to Disneyland last week with my wife and 14 year old grandson.  Enjoyed BYUs basketball game on Tuesday night where I also visited with classmates Steven Clements and Rodger (Beanie) Ollerton. Hope to make lunch on the 28th.

I have enjoyed reading all of your posts.  See you at the luncheon.  Yes, I am in Utah, and should be able to be there for this great event.  I had to go to  Texas, 25 miles from the Louisiana border for a funeral.  3700 mile round trip.  We left Saturday morning; got to the Denver area where we were going to go east into Kansas.  However, after about 10 miles traveling in that direction they shut down the freeway due to really bad snow storm conditions.  We had to backtrack and head to Albequrque, where we spent the night.  We were on the road on Saturday from 6:00am, leaving Brigham City, until 2:00am Sunday morning.  Bad roads.  Anyway, we got to Texas in one piece.  At the luncheon after the funeral they served "Gumbo".  Anbody ever heard of Gumbo.  I hadn't.  Strictly southern.  It was sure good tasting.  I bought some and brought it back with me.  My wife and I are here until the 31st, when we head back to Montana.  Hope to see you next week.

Hey Deb...That's not fair to lump me in the same category as your ex-husband, what did I ever do to you?  Besides I have never lived in the city, I am a country boy, our word and a hand shake is our bond.  The town I live in is probably smaller than yours, we only have 14 homes in Greenwich.

I have seen stranger things on a bike than high heels, we went on a ride and one of the girls wore flip flops I won't us the our time term cause I have been corrected by my kids to many times,(th*ng*).  Looking forward to seeing you for lunch and a tour.  DS

Can't leave without getting all the cute mother's of our classmates looking beautiful!! I am so thnakful for all the sweet ladies that are left. They are leaving way to fast!!! Where is everyone else for lunch????

Sorry, we tried to give you time to schedule your ladies for a non conflict time Shauna, we really want you there.  DS has those Gov. meetings so we have to eat early, and we're hungary. We'll talk long so you can get there.  I didn't know Denny wore high heels, I just thought he was tall. Maybe that's why his knees hurt.

Happy Birthday Duane Jensen.

I suppose floods are appropriate when you're sporting red stilettos.

See you at lunch!

What's in the box?

A little old lady went to the grocery store to buy cat food. She picked up four cans and took them to the check out counter.

The girl at the cash register said, "I'm sorry, but we cannot sell you cat food without proof that you have a cat. A lot of old people buy cat food to eat, and the management wants proof that you are buying the cat food for your cat."

The little old lady went home, picked up her cat and brought it back to the store. They sold her the cat food.

The next day, she tried to buy two cans of dog food. Again, the cashier said, "I'm sorry, but we cannot sell you dog food without proof that you have a dog. A lot of old people buy dog food to eat, but the management wants proof that you are buying the dog food for your dog."

So she went home and brought in her dog. She then was able to buy the dog food.

The next day she brought in a box with a hole in the lid. The little old lady asked the cashier to stick her finger in the hole.

The cashier said, "No, you might have a snake in there."

The little old lady assured her that there was nothing in the box that would harm her. So the cashier put her finger into the box and quickly pulled it out.

She said to the little old lady, "That smells like crap!"

The little old lady said, "It is.  I want to buy three rolls of toilet paper."

(Don't mess with old people.)

Happy Birthday, Dave!

The beautiful thing about golfing as we get older is that it is harder and harder to remember our bad shots.

It was sure great to see all of you who came to the luncheon.  I know others of you wished you could have been with us, but were unable to.  We were thinking of you.  It was great to talk of "old" memories from high school and beyond.  Thanks for  the good time we had.

Good question, Gary. Lately, I've read some English murder mysteries, strictly for fun and a novel called "Cutting for Stone" which is primarily about some doctors practicing in a hospital in Ethiopia in the 1970's. I know, it sounds pretty boring, but it was well written and pretty interesting in its descriptions of the culture.

Gary I don't read but I use books on tape or disk. I like murder mysteries and get through 6 to 8 in the winter. The new Springville Library has a good selection.
