David,

Ran into this old picture of us - too bad neither of us can remember it!

Your photo was better than mine. Post #1711, page 70. Our parents didn't waste a lot of money on our clothes did they?

How did you get on the other side?

And I thought that was a picture of Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher. Dang, but you guys were cute even back then!

I'd just like to say how proud I am of our own Dave Lynn! He's being honored by the Governor of Utah as the Visual Artist of the Year! His family and work associates at Glass Images and Creations in Orem will be honoring him at a special Open House next Friday, December 8th from 4 to 7 pm at his glass shop and showroom at 1804 S. Columbia Lane in Orem. When Dave let me know about this, yesterday, I told him I'd let all of you fellow 69ers know about it. It has been my great pleasure to watch Dave build up his business into one of the most highly regarded art glass operations in the west. Glass images has done glass work throughout the U.S. and in a number of foreign countries and he's done it with the highest standards and greatest integrity. I'm proud to have him as a life-long friend and fellow Red Devil. Congratulations, Dave!

Thanks Daryl.

You're all invited, my favorite creation was made possible by all of your participation.

Congratulations Dave - Way To Go

It is great to see a fellow '69er classmate acknowledged for their skill, talent and perseverance.

- And I thought your bus idea was epic.

We went to the Jazz game last night. We lost. I was getting on the escalator when this big guy said "Dave Lynn", I stepped back and reached for his name tag and he said "you don't know who I am." Mike Nielsen. We had a nice talk at halftime, he said he's run into a few classmates but they don't know who he is. I said "you've got bigger than us and grew a mustach, of course we don't recognize you." If you read this Mike that was great talking to you. Did you ever find Warren?

Anybody that sees me and I don't respond, please say hi, my mind and eyes aren't what they were in 1969.

I went fishing with MIKE A few years ago. We had a good time and got caught up on old times. I thought he was living in Arizona

So, let's start the conversation and see what we can come up with as far as ideas.

So we can fit into our plans or our pants.

Good idea Marvin.

What a great clock, Marvin! I want to be in charge of drawing the winning ticket. I think I might have a pretty good chance of pulling my own out of the hat. Good idea about the early planning. The Art City Days parade in 2019 should be on June 8th, so that should be our target.

It will help so much to get all the dates and times out for us to plan around.  We can't over plan this far out. 50 years, that so hard to wrap my head around.

I say we start off with wheel chair, crutches & cane races at the SHS track!  Then a nap.

I've been thinking I was 67 all this year. It's so cool to think I gained a year. Happy New Year everybody.

Dear Classmates.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes!  I must say that sharing a birthday celebration with the greatest person that has ever lived on the earth is quite daunting, but as I think about it, about 1/3 (or more) of the population of the earth is happy on Christmas day.  I won't take credit for the happiness, I`m just happy to be a part of it.  I`m also fortunate to have such good memories of some of the finest people I have known --the Class of 1969.

Best Regards;

Rick
