On the seventh of June Gaylon Dallin updated his information here on the class sight. I did not know that he was suffering from any illness as he was very quiet about what he was doing. I have not seen him in a while but every year Gaylon would camp durring the bow hunt up on the Skyline Drive and I would always go up and see him. We always had some good conversations. It just came to be something that happened and was expected. It started about 10 years ago by accident and just continued on. He was always a gracious host when I came up and visited. I never associated much with Gaylon in high school and after but during my time with UPS I got to know him through diliveries and realized how tallented he was when it came to bow and arrows. Even though he was hunting when I would go up on the skyline each year, he would take time out of his day to take me around and show me what was going on and where he had seen the animals and actually got me started in my first trail cameras. When we take time to get to know some of our classmates we learn more than expected. I will miss Gaylon both on the mountain and around town. He was a man that loved his kids and was proud of what they accomplished and just reciently took me around to show me what one of his sons had done with his place and I learned every detail. He was so proud. As Dennis Robertson always says, enjoy your friendships and friends to the fullest""
Though I really only was involved with Gaylon once a year or here and there when we met someplace, I am going to miss that small association that I have had over these last few years. I want you all to know how much I enjoy our get togethers and apprieciate friendships I have with the class. I wish you all a great Pioneer holiday and hope you all have a geat weekend.
