I will say this,  We have had one of the mildest winters I can remember.   I have pushed snow once.  Keep up the good work with the snow Chuck.    I have a daughter and her family who just got a promotion to an area manager and will be moving to Billings Montana.  I am guessing that they have kind of the same weather.  As much as I have tried to shovel rain, I just have not got the hang of it.

Hope your weather warms up, Chuck, just not too fast.

Debbie, we'll have to get some shots of the inside of the bus for you. There will definitely be music and there is open space in the back of the bus where you can dance. I don't know about light control if we take off the top of the bus and make it a convertible, might be a bit sunny on parade day, so don't forget to bring some sunscreen. Maybe we can arrange a disco ball for Friday night.

Oh, and we'll work on dancing for Saturday night, too.

Debbie, I think you should make a mixed tape for the bus and parade. We are putting in a roll bar with speakers on it (like a ski boat) so we can play it down the road. The stereo hasn't been installed, so we can put what ever kind you mix it on in the bus. We need someone who knows how to install it though.

I'm so glad we don't have to shovel rain to get our water.

Is everything ok Linda? We are getting excited about your art.

Thanks for asking........

The surgeon found more tumors inside Lars so that was not news we wanted to hear at all. We will go to the oncologist next week and go from there. I'm sure we will explore whatever we think might help, still could have many years depending on his body. We are living one day at a time.

We are retiring the business though and no more Bridger. We hope to go more in the camper with us and our dog as health issues allow.

I still plan on coming to the reunion and I will bring my posters and art stuff for the bus.

I'll have Debbie write a list of songs that would be good, she doesn't have a computer or electronic stuff, she uses my computer so she can relay some suggestions. We should all think of the perfect ones. Mostly Debbie was talking about dancing on Saturday night, not really on the bus, but hey whatever!

I follow the site, but sometimes I just can't muster the positive energy to talk, I'm just so overwhelmed right now......

love to all!!

Linda, hugs and positive wishes and thoughts to you and your dear Lars. Praying for your strength and courage as you face this.  Wish there was something I could do. It's hard to think that you are in such a hard place right now.  heart

I have gotten to know lots of people in my life.  This man I called quickdraw.  No one was faster with the draw of the finger and he always was able to blow the smoke from both fingers.   He taught me a lesson in life.  He passed away and I must admit, I shed a tear.   Some of the classmates have met him.   He has reached his destination.   Bill, Quickdraw,  I love you.

How old was he Ken. I was amazed how he recognized you when he showed up.

Thank you for sharing that with us Linda, we are all behind you. Let us know if we can do something.

Happy Birthday Dennis (the 9th). And my Dad.

Last month my neighbor fell out of a tree and died, my Father in Law passed away two weeks ago, my wifes cousin died last week as well as Chuck Thorn (Chris Thorns older brother).

I'm so glad these people as well as you living friends, have lifted me up in my life. I think I'll try to do some good for someone today.

My heart goes out to you and Lars, Linda. Never give up on the idea of miracles. Someone smarter than I am said, "adversity causes some men to break, and others to break records." We're all pulling for Lars to break records in his recovery!

Denny, Happy Birthday to you good friend!

I have enjoyed reading the IM's and today as I was reading the new posts. It came to me, maybe some of you would like to remember this small pice of history. I have not looked at it for over 10 years now. I even had to dig to find where it was stored.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry, but I thought that I needed to share this with you...I laughed only because it is sooooo true:

"Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovels, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land."  Nearly 75 years ago, (when Welfare was introduced) Rooselvelt said, "Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the promised Land."  Today, Congress has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of Camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!  I was so depressed last night thinking about Health Care Plans, the economy, the wars, lost jobs, savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc...I called a Suicide Hotline.  I had to press 1 for English.  I was connected to a call center in Pakistan.  I told them I was suicidal.  They got excited and asked if I could drive a truck.....Folks, we're screwed."

Have a nice day!

Shauna, that's a good idea. This site needs a retired page. It would nice to look up what members have made it to the next phase. In time maybe the retired, and others can do something.
