“Home sweet home”…we are absolutely thrilled and grateful to be back home!

For more than 28 years I have had a sustained and busy career in the aerospace and oil/gas industry with a focus on the environmental, health and safety (EHS) aspects. Most of this time I have been based in the Houston, TX area with extensive international travel focused on the EHS aspects of enterprise acquisitions and sustainable integration… it’s been very interesting and fun!

Last June (2017), Arlene and I decided that it was time come home, so we sold our home (The Woodlands, TX) and made the big move. In preparation for my “semi-retirement”, over 30 months ago I organized a small HSE consultancy (i.e. Altus Pro, https://www.altuspro-hse.com) which has resulted in a sustained and rewarding venture. I'm currently working on several projects at BYU and with a venture capital group (Rubicon Oil Field International, Warburg Pincus etc.) in the Houston, TX area.

Arlene is back teaching at Westside Elementary and loving it. I am looking forward to renewing my many dear friendships with y’all (Texas lingo) and spending more time with my wonderful family, skiing, fishing, hiking, and just trying to relax.

p.s. I never thought that I would ever, ever, EVER live in Spanish Fork…please forgive me!
