Glad to hear that Ken's surgery went well.  I am hoping to see some of my classmates when Spring comes.  I still drive and would love to see you guys.

Last night some of my favorite Red Devil classmates and I went with some others from the Springville Senior Center to see "Wicked" at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake. It was a great show and we decided to get a group picture afterward. It was hard to get everybody in the shot so Shauna and I volunteered to kneel down in front. Unfortunately, as I tried to steady her as she was going down I came up a little short on my grab for her arm.:

She said she wouldn't hold it against me. I think that means no more hugs from her!

Coke and I will be coming to Springville on June 12th so the Coke can attend her class reunion on the 13th and we will be staying thru the 22nd so that we can attend a memorial for my sister that passsed away in April. I was hoping that maybe we could get together with some of my Class of 69 classmates for a luncheon or dinner or picnic or something while we are there (maybe after the Art City Days parade on the 14th).

I'd love to get together with everyone who could when you're in town, Marvin! I have some responsibilities at the old Rivoli Theater after the parade on Saturday, but I'd come and join in as soon as I'm free. How would you feel about meeting sometime on Sunday afternoon the next day. Maybe bring a sack lunch and just hang out for a couple of hours? I know the parks are all going to be busy on Saturday, but we shouldn't have any problem meeting at someplace like the Contractor's Park across Hobble Creek from the library. Thoughts?

Ken , sorry about your eye . It does sound like it's improving. Best of luck for continued healing.

Daryl , it was so fun going up to SLC to see Wicked . The picture "incident " was hilarious. We laughed about it the entire way home.

Marvin, that sounds like a great idea for all of us to get together.  The following week may work out better . I think that Sunday , June 14th is Father's Day. We could try any other evening the week before Marvin and Coke leave .

It's always fun to get together with our class .

I'm sorry to have to report some sad news this evening. Kenny Hulce called me about 7:00 to let me know that Doug Wheeler had just passed away at the Spanish Fork Hospital. I don't have any other details, but I will post any information I receive on this page. My heart goes out to Kris and their family.

My experience with Doug was fabulous. He was a hard-working happy person. I feel very badly about him passing. Rest in peace Doug.

Doug had just called me Friday to see when we were all getting together! I always had so much teasing him! He was a great friend and We will all miss his smart 🐴 personality!!!

Kenny Hulce sent me this email message about Doug Wheeler:

"Doug's personality could fill up a room! Patty and I will miss him!"

I'm sure they speak for all of us. He was always so great to volunteer whenever we needed something like a trailer to ride on in the Art City Days parade and he drove the huge tractor to pull it. What a great guy!

R.I.P. Doug.  Didn't mince words. Loud and proud.  A good dude.  Should be at Strap Tank.  Work, got to visit mom, head over.  Marv and Coke dropping in from the northwest.  Good excuse for (dare I say) a beer and some laughs.
