It's getting so just having a Birthday is an accomplishment, let alone a happy one. Way to go you 65ers.

We'd better have lunch Friday Daryl, they can put a candle in your pizza.

I don't care what they say at the prison, I think you retired just because you wanted some good years before you got old. Happy Birthday.

Getting older has some fun moments, my goal for 2016 was to lose just 10 pounds... only 15 to go.

I like your plane Steve, do you fly it?

David Lynn

Ate salad for dinner...Mostly croutons & tomatoes...Really, just one big, round crouton covered with tomato sauce...And cheese...FINE, it was a pizza...I ate a pizza.

I decided to go on a diet and the first thing I did was remove all the bad food from the house. It was delicious!

How to prepare Tofu:

Cathy Ann Bismark-Pace
1951–2016
Cathy Ann Bismark-Pace, 65, of Springville, passed away peacefully on August 16th, 2016. She was born on June 9th, 1951, in Springville, Utah to Henry and Nadine Bismark. She married Allen Leroy Pace on April 27th, 1968 and is survived by him.

Cathy enjoyed technology and could fix about anything including her iPhone, to the consternation of Apple associates (how dare she know more than the “Genius Bar”). She was an avid reader, and introduced the rest of us to Star Trek and the optimistic future it presented. Fitting, as she was a perpetual optimist who never complained about her own suffering, and always thought of others first; a loving and kind spirit whose contagious laugh came easily and often, an incredible wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed having her children at home for summer and holiday breaks. Cathy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and fulfilled many roles through the years. She served as Director of the Springville Chamber of Commerce and also worked for the Utah County Assessors Office. She was a patient teacher who taught many children the Piano, except for her son who refused to “play” (pun intended) along.

Cathy is survived by her husband: Allen Pace of Springville; son John (Aileen) Pace of Salt Lake City and two grandchildren, Derek and Rachel, who are also Springville natives. She was preceded in death by her daughter Becky, and her mother and father.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS chapel located at 245 South 600 East in Springville. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville or Saturday at the church one-hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be sent at www.wheelermortuaries.com.

She was always smarter than the rest of us in our ward growing up. And always a smile. RIP.

Cathy's contagious, and always there, smile is what I remember the most about her.  Plus, she was smart but not a smarty-pants!!  RIP!
