Shirl Henry Peterson

Shirl Henry Peterson, of Holualoa, passed away in Kealakekua, Hawaii on June 25, 2018. He was born in Payson Utah July 26, 1951. Shirl proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Forest Ranger at the Uinta National Forest Reserve in Utah before moving to Kailua Kona in 1973. He worked in drywall construction on the Big Island for over 33 years with his family business, Kona Drywall.
He is survived by his loving wife Roslyn; son Jonathan Peterson of Kailua Kona; daughter Kristina Peterson of Holualoa; brother, Ursel Peterson of Mesa, Arizona; sister-in-law Sandy Peterson of Orem, Utah and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.
