David "Neil" Hanks, 48, recently of Pocatello, Idaho, formerly of Provo, Utah, returned home to his Heavenly Father on May 7, 1999, from complications of pneumonia.

Neil is survived by his loving wife, Connie Hanks, Pocatello, Idaho; one son from a previous marriage, Brandon and his wife, Stephanie Hanks, Orem, Utah; his parents, Gerald Mathew and Orpha Wignall Hanks, Provo, Utah; his brothers, Jerry Wayne and his wife, Meri Dene, Mapleton, Utah; Stephen Hanks, Salt Lake City; Randy Hanks, Provo, Utah; Kevin and his wife, Pam Hanks, Payson, Utah; and one sister, Lorna and her husband, Herb Lloyd, Santaquin, Utah; one grandmother, Mildred Shortt, Salt Lake City, Utah; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Mary Jo Hanks, and his grandparents.
