Jay Kurt Johnson, age 48 of Payson, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2000.  He was born August 6, 1951, in Provo, Utah, a son of J. Rex and Thora Lewis Johnson.  He married Debra Kay Miner November 15, 1969, in Springville, Utah.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple.  Survivors include his wife Debra, four daughters, Melissa (Scott) Ringger, Jolyne Johnson, Allison Kay Johnson and Haley (Mitchell) Holm, all of Payson, three grandchildren, Brett, Michaela and Austin; a brother and a sister, Lane (Kathy) Johnson, Provo and Linda Johnson of Magna.  Graveside Services under the direction of Walker Mortuary in Payson will be Wednesday, June 21, 2000, 11 AM in the Payson City Cemetery, 805 E. 400 North – The Daily Herald, Tuesday, June 20, 2000
