yup, Urr bus looks like it just arrived from Denver well stocked with left handed cigarettes. Some of us spent to much time in the 60"s. If I still had a memory I would try to remember back then. But I would remember being richer, smarter and better looking.

So I'm getting a pedicure and listening to Daryls post, she's grinding the bottom of my feet (it tickles) and I'm doing my best not to be laughing out loud. Anyway, thanks for the memories.

Happy Birthday Jay, (on the 3rd). I won't be in town that week or we could get up a golf game. Soon, start planning it.

devil Daryl your post was way funny, thanks for sharing.  Dave come down to the shop and I will grind your feet for nothing, or you could probley go to Richards and he would do the same.

It has been said that history turns on small hinges, and so do our lives. Decisions determine destiny. But we are not left unaided in our decisions. If you want to see the light of heaven go to the forum page and read what our great school friends are posting.  Thanks to you all for being such great friends even if it has only been for the last few years.

There is room for improvement in every life. Regardless of our occupations, regardless of our circumstances, we can improve ourselves and while so doing have an effect on the lives of those about us.  May God bless you.  DS

Good one Dennis! Daryl that was so true and funny! I guess I'm like him! I love my work so I guess I'll work until I don't have any clients left! Linda I am so glad your coming home! Grandkids are the best!  Kenneth I'm surprised that you missed one of our classmates Mom died. Jimmy Thompson's Mom was buried today. I went to the viewing and I had a good chat with him! He looks good and he is still an ER doc in Mississippi!  He was one of those kids that was so smart that the rest of us didn't do so well because of grading on the curve! I gave him a hard time about it! Which kid was the smart one in your grade school class??? Who was the craziest and I mean that in a fun way!! I think you may win that one Jimmy Harmer!! I remember you pumping me home on the handle bars of your bike. And duh, there were no roads most of the way! Now who is crazy? I guess I win??????????????

Class Mates:

I have been reading and keeping up with all the posts and have found you all to be very interesting.

The Magic Bus you all created for the reunion looks fantastic. I should have dropped what I was doing and participated.

My Children are all grown up Graduated College, Married and Gone.

I retired a while back and have been trying to find my ground feet, sea legs, or just the north star of my current life.

I haven’t seen or heard from anyone from Springville in approximately 7 years.

I was a computer geek for 35 years so, when I retired I did not sit down and log into a computer for the first year. I just wanted to break the habit. Didn’t even look at the Internet for that long.

I played golf 3 to 4 times a week walked another 40 miles a week and lost some weight. But you’ll be glad to know I have gained it all back.
Well I thought I would chime in and see if anyone remembers me.

I loved “Born to be Wild” class of 69.

Roger it's great to hear from you. We need to get you involved in our golf outings maybe you can teach the rest of us how to play except for Dave he is already good!

What we love determines what we seek. What we seek determines what we think and do. What we think and do determines who we are—and who we will become.

Shanna did you ever do Chinese fire drills on Main Street with out getting pulled over by the cops?  We did in Craig's 50 ford.  We also went around one night and changed the street signs so they were going the wrong direction!  We drove from Packerds canyon to the bottom of Springville canyon with just our flashers on. Do any of these qualify us for crazy?

Happy Birthday to everyone who had a Birthday in January and February love ya all.

Here is a fantastic interview Shauna Davis Johnson's dad, Keith Davis, gave to the BBC. He recounts some of his experiences in WWII during the Battle of the Bulge. Keith is one of my all-time heroes and I hope you will all take a few minutes to check this out. Thanks to all of you who have served our country in wartime and peace!

Dennis if I started on all the things we did in high school, it would even shock me!! Fire Drills were pretty minor with our group of friends!! I don't know how we made it our of Hobble Creek a few nights with the crazy drivers! Really Roger how could any of us forget you!!! The scarriest night of my life was when you and Randy decided to race your hot cars!!! I layed on the floor and read the tac and told Randy when to shift!! I still hate going fast in a car!! By the way who won?? I was on the floor crying!! Stupid teenagers and boys ego's!!! Right!! Was your car an Orange GTO??

Shauna,   I did read where James mother had passed away.   She use to baby sit me when I was a kid.  They lived down the street.   I would deliver many a packages to them in Mapleton.  I enjoyed talking with his mom and dad.  She was always high on James.

I have been traveling around doing a few things that I wanted to do.  I ran to Idaho for a few days and then decided to go to Billings Montana to see some of the grandkids.  Spent a week there and then home to Richfield to run a fishing tournament at Fish Lake.   I managed to show how stupid I could be by buying ice cleats and leaving them in the truck while I walked out on the ice and fell and missed up my leg.   Then after getting home got a call to go to Nebraska pheasant hunting with some friends.  I probably should not have gone but could not miss a great bird hunt.  Now the tissue in my leg is all missed up and I get some good bed rest while the leg and muscle tries to heal.  We did have an exceptional hunt.  The last day of the season after 89 days hunted we killed 80 birds.

For all those Hollywood types that were hanging around Park City last week. You need a Rolex, a Bentley, and a designer therapist. For the rest of us we prefer someone more qualified So we don't end up in some sort of rehab. I prefer that my therapist has a chair that goes up and down and that she is good at covering some of the gray hair and can cut evenly. The problem is Shauna told me I was crazy: post #2896. I can't disagree but it was supposed to be a secret !!!

Well Jimmy you have to be fun and crazy to be from the class of 69!! That is the only way to live to deal with this life! Also we all have to keep a good sense of humor and understand that I'm a smart @$$#%!!

oops, After reading your post my eyes were drawn over to your picture. I want you to look very closely and read the side of the bus. In front of you, and then there you stand. I don't feel this is a proper discription of you and the word smart seems to be missing. But it is kind of funny.

Shauna' trust Jim to be the the only in the class to notice the large caption. But I think the wrong person  is standing  by the bus. to have that title. Good eye Jim.
