Timothy Lee Woodward "Woody"

1951 ~ 2013

Our beloved husband, son, dad, grandpa, and friend passed away on August 25, 2013 while doing what he loved most, riding his Harley Davidson, near Fort Peck Lake Montana.

He was born on January 18, 1951 in Fort Stockton, Texas to Fred and Betty Kelly. Later he was adopted by Rhoda Mae and Leonard Andrew Woodward.

In Tim's early years, he had fond memories of living with his three sisters and grandma and grandpa Kelly. They moved around a lot, living between Texas, New Mexico, Oregon. Tim finally settled with the Woodward's in Springville Utah at 12 years old. He graduated from Springville High in 1969. He joined the US Navy in 1969 and became a Basic Signalman. He was stationed in Pearl Harbor and served two tours in Vietnam, riding up the Da Nang River towing destroyed ships out to harbor.

In 1978, he met Kim Oveson and after a short romance they married on August 31 at grandpa and grandma Oveson house where they currently reside. They were later sealed in the Provo LDS Temple. After four Kids and many fun time and adventures they enjoyed 35 years together.

Tim and Kim have 4 children and ten grandchildren. Timothy JR (TJ) and Shauntae Zabriskie Woodward of Williston ND, Tracy Jill Woodward Ward of Orem UT, Travis and Shalyse Clements Woodward of Orem UT, Rebecca Zobell and Jade Jensen of Spanish Fork UT. Ron and Karen Oveson of Benjamin, Todd and Marci Oveson of Tooele, Vicki and Shane Harris of Spanish Fork,Troy and Tausha Oveson of American Fork. Tim was survived by his 3 sisters, Sandra Phelps of Sanderson Texas, Candy Haas of Del Rio Texas and Faye Espinosa of Fort Stockton Texas.

Memorial services will be held August 31, 2013 at Lake View 7th Ward house at 151 W 1600 S Orem, Utah at 11:00am. Family and friends are welcome to come and celebrate Woody's life.
